A viable vehicle for investors and entrepreneurs.

A panel discussion exploring social impact investing.

An area of growing interest and scale, investors are increasingly seeking viable financial returns combined with meaningful social and environmental outcomes. When present, this powerful combination can make a company more attractive to investors, more resilient in its marketplace, and can add to the company’s ability to attract and retain talent. Desired impacts can take many forms, ranging from providing a channel for fair trade goods produced in economically distressed geographies to solving significant environmental problems or addressing inefficiencies and inequalities in education, healthcare and food. Investors also can be diverse, ranging from family offices to specialty funds, to individuals. The panel discussion will consider how investors and companies have come together to realize desired outcomes for mutual benefit. Doing well and doing good, a viable combination for shared success.

Panelists

  • Jenny Du, Apeel Sciences
  • Alex Kremer, Patagonia
  • Karla Mora, Alante Capital

This program will be moderated by Jonathan Gartner of Sustainable Change Alliance.
