Rick Tico is a seasoned professional focused on working with Middle Market Banking customers based on the California Central Coast, from Paso Robles to Ventura County. He joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2016, and brings over ten-years’ commercial banking experience to clients. In prior roles he has worked with customers ranging from well-conceived, venture-capital funded / pre-revenue start-ups, to private-equity backed growth companies, and $1-billion plus annual sales industry leaders, helping them optimize their day to day treasury, cash management and financing needs.
Tico’s additional experience in the financial services, securities and corporate finance industries includes working in Chicago for 10-years, primarily as an Institutional Financial Futures and Options Broker with Nomura Securities, based on the trading floor at the Chicago Board of Trade; two-years with Smith Barney; and two-years with Streamline Capital, a Santa Barbara-based boutique corporate finance firm.
Rick received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University, and earned an MBA in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a long-time Executive Board Member with the Santa Barbara based, MIT Enterprise Forum of the Central Coast chapter, where he has chaired or moderated numerous programs ranging fromDigital Technology and Filmmaking, to The Commercialization of Space,Online Personal Data Tracking, and Building the Bionic Human. He has also been a Steering and Nominating Committee Member for the South Coast Business & Technology Awards since 2014. Tico is a seventh generation Californian, born and raised in Santa Barbara, where he resides with his wife Jacqueline and their two children.
