George Konstantinow

    George is a consultant and analyst in health care information technology. He previously worked in systems engineering at Hughes Aircraft and Delco Electronics, and later served as manager of information technology at Unisys, director of networking and telecommunications at Santa Barbara City College, and director of research and development with the ISERA Group. He is on the Board of Directors for Ensemble Theatre Company and the Santa Barbara Symphony, where he serves on both boards’ Education and Finance committees, and is an avid supporter of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
    George holds a B.A. in Mathematics from New College of the University of South Florida and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina. He conducted research as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, where he pioneered innovative computer imaging methodologies aiding in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disease. He continues to engage with start-ups, established medical companies, and distinguished medical research centers in search of the latest advances in decision sciences, translational medicine, telemedicine, and patient-centered health IT.
